Support the Ngai Tämanuhiri Embassy
5 August 2002 From 9am Tuesday 6 August, to 5pm Friday 9 August, there will be a Ngai Tämanuhiri Embassy in parliament grounds from 9am to 5pm each day, demanding that the Crown (NZ government) stops the sale of Te Kuri (Young Nick's Head) to foreign parties. Go along and support the Ngai Tämanuhiri Embassy, a place of non-violent protest. All visitors welcome; koha or kai would be appreciated. If you're planning any action of your own to oppose the sale of Te Kuri, it would be good if you check it out with the Ngai Tämanuhiri people first.
