Vieques Alert: U.S. Navy arrives

The radio in Puerto Rico (Super Cadena) just announced that US ships have arrived to the north coast of Vieques! People in Puerto Rico and Vieques are involved in mobilization and preparations for the arrests and the protests that will be carried out in various points in the island.
FBI and Federal Marshalls are expected to perform the arrests while more than 1,000 marines will maintain the protest perimeter clear of protester. No information has been released if they will be carrying live ammunition.
Puerto Rican Congressman Serrano D-NY and other leaders of the US mainland PR community have not been able to get a meeting with Janet Reno.
