The Moriori of Rekohu: T'chakat henu - People of the Land
Exhibition from 22 August 2010 - 30 January 2011



A new exhibition 'The Moriori of Rekohu: T'chakat henu - People of the Land' will open at the Pataka Museum of Arts and Cultures on 22 August 2010 and run until 30 January 2011.

'The Moriori of Rekohu: T'chakat henu - People of the Land' is a collaborative effort between the Hokotehi Moriori Trust and Pataka Museum and showcases Moriori stories of celebration and revival. Pataka has designed an events programme to accompany the exhibition, details will be available on this page after the exhibition opens.

Pataka Museum is at the corner of Norrie and Parumoana Streets, Porirua City - if you need directions, details of how to get there are on this page. The museum is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 4.30pm, and from 11am to 4.30pm on Sundays.
