Bat Shalom Urgent Appeal for International Intervention

While the occupation continues, the potential for unchecked violence inevitably continues. Israel, which has at its disposal the greater military power by far, has increased its use of force. The Palestinian response then becomes part of the vicious cycle, leading to ever more death and destruction. In light of the current absence of political negotiations, there is a need for an immediate response by the international community.
We call upon all people of good will and upon all peace-seeking governments to support our call for the intervention of a responsible and effective international force under the auspices of the United Nations."
