Auckland - GE action, 23 June
22 June 1999 - Friends of the Earth
On Wednesday 23 June at 12am in QE 2 Square a march will go to Aotea Square to meet the Mayor with a letter requesting Auckland be declared a GE-Free Zone. Several groups are supporting this: the issues involve privatising life, trade wars, health and environmental issues.
It has been initiated by a group from Northland travelling to Wellington to publicize the issues and press for political action. Please support this if you can.
