Saturday 23 May 1998, 10.00 am - 2.30 pm Outside 264 Cuba Street, Wellington Peace Movement Aotearoa (PMA) and Environment and Conservation Organisations of New Zealand (ECO) are holding a fundraising garage sale on Saturday 23 May, from 10.00 am to 2.30 pm. It will be held in the carpark of 264 Cuba Street (outside the old Peace and Environment Centre building), just up from the corner of Cuba and Abel Smith Streets. There will be a huge variety of clothes, books and magazines, kitchenware, and assorted knick-knacks to choose from. All proceeds will be going to PMA and ECO, to help their work in promoting peace and environmental protection. Food not Bombs will be along to provide free vegetarian food to sustain the garage sale shoppers.
