Film stars for PMA

If you are going to be in Wellington at the end of January or in early February -

You could become a film star and help fundraise for PMA ! Well, almost ...

As a member of the Wellington Peace and Environment Centre, we have been offered an opportunity to raise money by providing people to work as extras on a film set. We will receive a donation of around $50 per person per session.

This is a great opportunity to have fun, and help us out too !

The filming will be done in the Cuba St area and being an extra involves walking or standing in the background scenery while the actors are being filmed in a street scene and a bar scene. No skill is necessary. People of all shapes and sizes are required, but people who can look like young skaters, punks, hippies, etc are especially required.

If you are available for any of the following sessions :

• January 31st (from 9pm to 2am); or
• February 8th (daytime); or
• February 9th (daytime)

please get back to us as soon as possible confirming which session/s you can get to, tel (04) 382 8129 or pma@xtra.co.nz ; or phone Mark at the Centre on (04) 385-6728. Don't forget to specify that you want Peace Movement Aotearoa to benefit from your session/s.

If you can do more than one session, you could give part of your share of the film company's donation to another Wellington Peace and Environment Centre group as well as to PMA. The groups are :

Campaign for a Better City, Campaign for the Establishment of Civilisation, Native Forest Action, Stir Friday, Wellington Rainforest Action Group; Wellington Animal Action.
