Messages of Solidarity to Peace Vigil in Suva

The Daily Peace Vigil resumes at the Holy Trinity Anglican Cathedral at 2-30pm this afternoon. The vigil meets daily at the Holy trinity Anglican Cathedral: Monday - Saturday 12 noon to 2pm; Sunday 2-30 to 4-30pm.

Since last weekend many women and men from a wide variety of organisations have come together every day from 12 noon to 2pm at the Anglican cathedral in the centre of Suva in protest against the violent hostage situation at parliament house. They come together for reflection, prayer and a silent vigil. Fiji women’s organisations have taken this important initiative. You can send messages of solidarity and support to the daily vigil, the messages can be sent via the Fiji Women's Rights Movement fwrm@is.com.fj or the National Council of Women ncwf@is.com.fj.
