Navy Headquarters said in a statement that the military exercise, called Sea Control 2001 (Dalla-2001), is due to begin on Friday. It is aimed at improving the readiness of the Navy to uphold law and order in the area. "The exercise will focus on the improvement of sea combat ability and law enforcement at sea.
