Information on DU ammunition 9 January 2001 Kia ora, we are currently receiving rather a lot of information about the use of depleted uranium ammunition in relation to the European governments concerns about their soldiers who were stationed in Bosnia and Kososvo, and to a lesser extent those who fought in the Gulf War. The plight of civilians in those places where the US and British governments have allowed their armed forces to use DU ammunition does not, alas, appear to be a source of great concern to them ... except for those living near the British bombing ranges in Cumbria and Scotland that is. Among the articles we are receiving are some relating to the lying cover-ups perpetrated by Pentagon and Ministry of Defence officials, and their political masters. We are not planning on circulating all the information coming in on this topic, but will be uploading some of the articles to this site tomorrow and again next week. You can check for the latest information on our DU index page. If you have a particular interest in this topic, we are happy to forward on copies of everything we receive to you - please reply to pma@xtra.co.nz if you wish us to do that.
