Kia ora,
as well as the events in Wellington on 1 October as the Hikoi arrives at parliament, there are other events happening around the country - details we have are listed below, but we know there are more ! Contact your local Anglican church to see if something is happening in your area.
* GORE - every day through September, at 12-30pm people from around Gore will gather to pray for the hikoi, contact the local Anglican church for details.
* TARANAKI Anglican churches will be open to all from 11am to 3-30pm on 1 October as Prayer for the Hikoi vigils happen around the region.
* AUCKLAND
- 12 noon, anti-workfare protest outside Aotea Chapel (Queens Street, opposite Aotea Square), organised by AUWRC tel (09) 302 2496.
- 12-15pm to 12-45pm, St Mary's Holy Trinity Cathedral, Parnell - prayers for those who have been part of the Hikoi, those gathered in Wellington, and those gathered at Aotea Square.
