~ WEDS, 24 Nov - protest vigil and leafletting against the deployment of the NZ frigate 'Te Kaha' to enforce the economic sanctions which are killing thousands of people every month in Iraq, from 4-30pm to 5-30pm at the Cenotaph (outside parliament).

~ FRI, 26 Nov - the absolutely fantastic Reclaim the Night March followed by performers at Frank Kitts Park, to mark the International Day of Action to end Violence Against Women (25 Nov). Its aims are to challenge the amount of rape and violence that women suffer in our society and around the world and to celebrate women's strength. Women and Children only - the march offers a place for women's voices to be heard and a time for us to reclaim the streets as places that women can walk without fear or protection from men. Performers include comedian Cathy Sheat, Choir Choir pants on Fire, The Shirleys and much much more!! Meet at 8pm at Chaffers Park (between Oriental Parade and Cable Street) and bring a banner if you like and all your friends!!
