~ FRI, 10 Dec - Human Rights Day protest outside the Chinese embassy, 7-30am to 9-00am, 588 Great South Road, organised by Friends of Tibet (NZ);

... also Friends of Tibet pot luck dinner at Tho Som Dhargyey Ling Humurana House (29 Princes Street - opp. Uni clock tower), 6pm to celebrate 10th anniversary of the Nobel Peace Prize awarded to the Dalai Lama, take a plate of food to share. The House is the newly opened Tibetan Meditation Centre, so an opportunity to have a look !

These events are to mark International Human Rights Day and the 10th Anniversary of His Holiness the Dalai Lama receiving the Nobel Peace Prize.
