  • 2187 (2005). Keith Locke to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade:
  • What applications for export of strategic goods have Oscmar International made to export hardware and/or software for the Manworn Laser Detection Harness from January 1 2003 to the present and, for each, when was the application received, when and what was the decision on the application reached by MFAT, and what were the immediate and ultimate consignees on the export of strategic goods application forms?

Hon Phil Goff (Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade) replied:

Thirty-one applications have been received to export Manworn Laser Detection Harness hardware and/or software from January 1 2003 until the present. All applications were approved except for one to Israel, for which the end user was the Israeli Ministry of Defence. Information regarding consignees is commercial-in-confidence to Oscmar International Ltd.
