Dates of Foreshore and Seabed Bill Hearings

Update 21 September 2004: the Fisheries and Other Sea-related Legislation Committee has cancelled the hearings on the Foreshore and Seabed Bill scheduled for 27 to 30 September in Auckland. The only day now scheduled for hearings on the Bill is 4 October in Wellington.

The Fisheries and Other Sea-related Legislation Committee has announced the remaining hearing dates for submissions on the Foreshore and Seabed Bill as below. The hearings are open to the public when submissions are being made.

Auckland - 23 (cancelled), 25, 26 August; 6, 8, 9 and 27 to 30 September (cancelled). The hearings are in the Centennial Stand, L5, Alexandra Park Raceway, corner Greenlane and Manukau Roads, Epsom; public sessions on 8 and 9 September are approx 9am to 1pm, and 2-10pm to 6pm.

Christchurch: - 15 and 16 September. The hearings are in the Scenic Circle Cotswold Hotel, 88-96 Papanui Road, St Albans

Wellington: - 24, 30, 31 August; and 1, 2, 7, 13, 14 September. All of the Wellington hearings are in the Select Committee Rooms, Parliament.
