In memory of Arthur Quinn


Arthur Quinn died on Monday, 30 March 2009. Arthur was a lively character, a keen tramper and country dancer, and a resolute and determined campaigner for peace, nuclear disarmament, and social justice over many years. Most widely known amongst peace people for his involvement in the Waiwhetu-Lower Hutt Peace Group, writing and mailing the newsletter and chairing the meetings for more than 20 years, Arthur was also actively involved in the Peace Council of Aotearoa New Zealand, and a member of Peace Movement Aotearoa.

We will miss him, and our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.

A service for Arthur will be held at the Harbour City Funeral Home, 665 High Street, Lower Hutt on Friday, 3rd April, at 2pm.
